Random Question

Would you HONESTLY buy King Me! if it were published? Assuming it came with extras (illustrations, mini-comics, something along those lines).

No, this doesn't mean I'm getting King Me! published. I'm just wondering. XD

Yes. A resounding YES, even without extras, though they would be nice. BTW, I don't think I've ever commented before, but I check this page religiously to see if there have been updates. Saw this question and decided I had to say something. Truthfully though? If I saw this and Deus ex Machina in a store and had never read either, I would be more apt to pick up Deus than King Me. But that's because Deus is more within my interests, story wise. This is not to say that I would not eventually pick this one up too, however. The art in both are definitely within professional range. So there is my opinion.

Omfg...why would you say that? I feel like an r-tard cause my hopes were up and everything. Omfg I'd be on it like...well that's not appropriate for any passing children but yeah! Omg! I would run to the store and rip it off the shelf and show people and shout "I READ THIS ON THE INTERNET! OMFG YES GAY PR0N!" <<

...yeah. I'd buy it.

Yes.

I would buy it, despite my limited budget and the chiding of my friends of "you don't need to go in the bookstore, K, you'll end up buying something, and then you won't have any money, because you -always- buy too many books when you go in there. Now just walk away." ...

I'd rip through 'em both in a second flat and be at the check out counter with King Me!. [Well, it may take longer than a second, because I'd have to see if they -finally- got GC number 3, and check out how many volumes of Cantarella I've missed so I can get those too... or I may just do that tomorrow while I'm there and order J-boy via the net 'cause I get paid tomorrow~~ Woo. Now I'm just talking to much.]

In short.

Yes. I would love to buy it. Even if it were itty-bitty, teeny-tiny, with absolutely no extras, the cover was blank, and all these other things that would normally dissuade people, I'd buy it.

Even if I hadn't read it before.

Because I like things that have to do with boys and medieval type stuffs, and the title would make me go "Ooo!"

Yes and no. I don't want to seem unenthusiastic because I love reading this comic! The characters are cute and engaging, and the premise between them holds my interest. So honestly I'd have a hard time putting down a published version with just that. That said, the composition and style gets all over the place sometimes...... but it's already shown a huge amount of improvement this quickly into the comic, so keep up the good work!

Yes, I certainly would. :) I recently started reading many of your comics on Jeeves, and I must say, I'd probably buy ALL of them if they were published. ;) I love your style!

aye I believe I would. I prefer holding comics in hand rather than viewing them on the net.

I'd add it to my collection. That means, hell yeah! If you could find a publisher for it, I'd be happy to add it to my shelf of shonen-ai manga (which is steadily growing... Just wait till yaoi is within reach!), so, yeah, I'd buy it if it were out.

Faery Goddyss, 17 Sep 2007 12:30 pm

Yes, BUT I'd be more willing to buy Deus, but I WOULD by King Me! And I actually have the ability to shell over like 10-15 dollars to actually physically buy one, rather than just say I wish I could buy one. There's a difference there.

But that really isnt the question. I think everyone would buy a copy if they could. The REAL question is could you FINISH it? I wouldnt want to buy something that didnt have an ending. After all you DO have a SHORT attention span and I wonder about all your comics and if they'll ever be completed before you lose interest...

So if you could promise to finish it I'd purchase it. A fair trade in my opinion.

Ahraah, thank you ALL for such nice and honest comments. :3

And Faery Goddyss, if one of me story's were being published, I'd pay more mind to completing them. Since I don't have to worry about it now I'm not too strained, but both King Me! and Deus Ex Machina have endings planned for them in surprising detail, and since there is SO much more I want to show you guys of these stories (King Me! is actually really deep if you read between the lines and are past most of these Character Intro Archs) that I haven't been abale to get to yet. It'll get there, though. =w=

If they were a reasonable price and I could scrounge up the money? Then yes, I would. And DEM, and all of your other comics.

EmCaCo, 29 Sep 2007 06:18 pm

I think I would if the earlier pages were redone. There's a clear difference between the earliest strips and the lastest ones, in the art and layout. You've clearly improved since you started this comic.

If I'd learn how to make my card work when not buying on internetz, yessir.

Koku (Guest), 05 Oct 2007 12:06 pm

I would buy it depending on the price and the size. I love your comic but I can read through a manga in under half an hour ^^; oh and I'm a cheapass. hehe. :D so if the price was reasonable I would so get it.

Mir (Guest), 06 Oct 2007 12:10 pm

Buy it? =D Yep! I'd shell out money I don't have to buy King Me! x3
